The Hornets and Chris Paul will meet on Monday to discuss the point guards future with the club. Paul is not happy with the lack of moves made by the team this offseason and prefers to be traded if the franchise is not committed to winning. At this point Paul has not officially asked the team to trade him.

"No one from our camp has said that Chris demanded a trade," a source close to Paul told The Times-Picayune on Thursday. "But they (Hornets) have not put themselves in position to win this season. We have the same team as last year, basically. The only thing that matters to Chris is winning."

Paul is reportedly frustrated by the team's lack of interest in Matt Barnes, Mike Miller and Shaquille O'Neal and other free agents.

"Are they even calling guys and trying to get them to play?" the source said. "We would have loved to hear that Mike had narrowed his choices down to the Hornets and Heat. But we're never in the running for players."
