Rookie Jon Scheyer suffered an eye injury while playing for the Heat during summer league and could be sidelined for some time. "Jon has not been allowed to work out since he injured his eye," his father Jim Scheyer told the Chicago Tribune. "He has to wait until the swelling goes down before they can evaluate any damage to his vision and that could take awhile. He will resume some light workouts next week and we'll see what happens when the swelling goes down." He has not signed a contract with Miami, so the hope is he's healthy enough to garner an invite to training camp in the fall.
