I've ordered them from what I feel would be least to give up, to most.
What would you give up in order to get CP3 here?

I'm pretty sure I checked each one of these and they all work in the ESPN trade machine.

At first glance at the thread title, I wondered if this poll was going to list unpleasant actions (i.e., "I'd literally give up my left nut for CP3")

Heh, didn't realize it posted the thread even if you were still editing the poll. I had to run all the possibilities through the trade machine to make sure they'd work.

Where's the option for Oden, Oden, Oden, Oden, and Oden?

You forgot Roy in your list. I'd trade Roy for Paul as I think he would benefit least from adopting CP3. I for damn sure wouldn't ever consider your last three options or Batum + Oden.

    The most I'd give up:

Any mix of assets that don't include Roy or Oden

    OR

Oden and expirings but nothing else

    OR

Roy and expirings but nothing else

Rudy, Bayless, Miller and Joel are all filler, they don't even need to be mentioned as part of a trade when you’re talking about Paul, Roy, Oden, LaMarcus, or Batum. That first group has virtually zero value when you’re talking about moving players around from that second group.

My first preference would be to trade Batum, then LaMarcus, then Batum+Lamarcus, then Roy, then my final and least favorable offer would be sending out Oden.

When I look back at how I value Oden, and from the other posters I can tell I'm not alone, I've realized just how much bargaining power he has for a large extension this off-season even though he's only played in 1/3rd of the possible games.

You missed the deal that I think maybe, maybe NO will go for:

Paul & they dump Okafor's contract, for:

Batum, Bayless, Miller, Pryz, & their choice of three from Rudy, Babbitt, Williams, Pendy, Cunningham, Plus $3mil cash, Euros, Future picks.

You also missed the expanded version where Portland also send Camby and NO dumps Posey (and fodder).

I am not so sure they give huge value to Oden, thus he is worth more to us than to them. I don't think they would want LaMarcus with his huge contract. But, if they did, I would trade him for Paul - but not with Batum and certainly not with Oden.

I'd agree with above. You forgot a version with Camby.

I really don't think they'll take on LaMarcus and his contract with West on their roster already. So most of those LMA options are really mute.

I think the keys are items with no Oden or Batum, items with no Oden or no Batum individually, and combos that add Okafor and we add Camby.

I know what you're saying: It's A LOT to give up.

I agree but when does the best PG in the League ever come on the market who's only 25 years old? Never.

It's a unique situation and with Batum/Oden w/ $14m in expiring deals, none of those other teams even come close to this offer.

Okay, so why give up so much? Who are we bidding against, ourselves?
