http://www.boxingnews24.com/2010/07/pacquiao-to-fight-november-13th-in-united-arab-of-emirates/ According to boxing website Boxrec, it has been listed that WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao will be fighting next on November 13th in the United Arab Emirates. Due to the location of the proposed fight, it suggests that a fight with Antonio Margarito is all but a done deal. Should the fight come off, it will be for the WBC light-middleweight championship. And if Pacquiao can successfully over-come Margarito, he will claim a world title in an astonishing 8th different weight class. Trainer Freddie Roach is confident Manny could easily blow Margarito away. At the moment, boxrec has Pacquiao behind Floyd Mayweather in the pound for pound rankings, but should Pacquiao capture another world title in another weight class, he will reclaim his place at the top of the pound for pound rankings. However, this mythical title varies between places, with boxrec placing Wladimir Klitchko at number 3. Many people, including this writer, would argue that the IBF heavyweight champion should not even be in the top 10. Bob Arum says Manny Pacquiao vs Antonio Margarito could be completed within 72 hours.
^ With Mayweather off kicking a can around after having his bullshit called by Pacman, this is a pretty entertaining fight to have in the meantime. There are a few other guys I'd sooner see Manny fight than Margarito--Andre Berto, Paul Williams, Timothy Bradley, or even Amir Kahn--its a fight Manny should win and he'll look great doing so. Meanwhile I hope Mayweather fights Berto as he was scheduled to before.
Flat out, I don't think any of theses guys can beat Manny. Not even Floyd. I just wanna see him get his ass kicked...err, sorry; face...punched.
The next time they go to negotiations, they'll make the match. Pacman balked Floyd balked Now its time to duke it out.
