Raptors get number 1

Wow for the second straight year, a dark horse got the number 1 pick in the draft. Too bad this draft is kidna weak but at number 1 you can def. find a good player

Wow, im pretty shocked Raptors went from 5 to 1. They can really turn this franchise around if they draft smart, even with a weak year in this draft. I would also have to say Rudy Gay could be their fit

 

Rudy Gay. We would have an awesome lineuppg-Mike James???/Jose Calderonsg-Morris Peterson/Rudy Gaysf-Charlie V/Joey Graham/Matt Bonnerpf-Chris Boshc-???We just need a center and to figure out what to do with Mike James.

 

I think they pull a '99 and get a smart vet, who still has lots of contribution in hand. Chris Bosh needs to get to a point this year where he gets 20 shots per game

Charlie at PF Bosh center</div>I don't know if Bosh will adjust well to the center role, he seems to be a very good PF, he has that nice jumper too which he couldn't utilize as well as he does at the PF position. Reguardless, them getting the #1 pick is huge. It's a tough decesion definately, I hope that just because they have the #1 pick they feel they have to take an aldridge or rudy gay, a big name college guy. I Love Patrick O'Bryant, I think he could fit in very well with the Raptors, they would have a really athletic front line with Carlie V/Bosh/O'Bryant. I think that would be a good pick for the Raptors but for some reason I doubt they'll pick him at #1

 

There is an article over at RealGM that the GM pretty much sai they're picking Andrea Bargani (Italy) no matter what. Hes a legit center, and supposed to be the next Dirk.

We cant risk on a guy who we dont even know can play Center at the NBA level with the freaking 1st overall pick in the draft. It's Gay :closedeyes:

 

Why get another SF, when there locked there. Have you seen this kid, he is like a Dirk, and shoots like Reggie.

 

Yeah, we got our own kid. Chris Bosh. Bragnani wont be able to play Center in the NBA.As for SF, all 3 young guys could be able to split time there, Gay can play the guard spot pretty easily, Villanueva can play all the frontcourt spots and Joey can play the 3. It shouldnt be a huge concern.

 

We need a center not another guard.we need the guy from Italy for L.A

 

We should get LaMarcus Aldridge. Play him at C alongside Bosh and Villy at the 3.

 

I want Aldridge, cause he has a body like a center, and is more of a center then Bargani.But then Bargani, has all game. He can shoot too, and play in the post.Either or.Ill be happy.

Well it doesnt matter to me. LA23 or Bargani. I will be happy.
