The city or New Orleans and the state of Louisiana. Nothing about the Hornets as a franchise. Beautifully written by some PR person

OK, so he left himself an out if the team is moved. If that's the best loop-hole he could leave himself, he needs to replace the PR person with a mean lawyer.

He didn't make a commitment to the Hornets, did he? He wants to win and will perhaps give them a chance. If they don't win, he's gone.

So, they talked Paul off the ledge.

Good for them. I see it as they bought themselves some time this summer to make some moves.

Unfortunately for the Hornets, I can't imagine what they can do, while also staying below the lux tax limit, that will get Paul excited for the long-term.

They have to improve before the deadline. If they do not and also fall out of the playoffs again and a potential lockout where nothing can get done, dude is gone. And we will have no shot unless it is via sign and trade at that point.

I think Parker or Harris is a better way to go, especially Parker with his playoff experience.

I'm fine with that. By the way I believe this is the united front ploy to drive up offers. Expect a leak later today or tommorow that the Hornets would go for it if there are better deals on the table.

TP is a terrible option I'd rather go for Collison cheaper and less mileage.

Don't be so sure he is cheaper. The Hornets have to improve. How exactly do they improve when really there only asset is Collison? They will want a nice, young stud in return for him. Not so sure Rudy and Bayless qualify. They probably would want Batum in which I would say yeah, for Chris Paul not Collison.

They won't get a stud for Collison, CP3 just killed any leverage they had with a potential Collison trade. Folks, NOH doesn't control time and space here. They either present a united front around CP3 which logically means they are desperate to improve, or a united front around trading CP3 which means they are desperate to trade CP3.

If they back CP3 Collison can be had for fairly cheap. Bayless + Rudy? I don't know about that. Maybe some other configuration, but it won't require Batum and we sure as fuck won't trade Batum for him.

It will probably take Oden and I'd probably do that deal.

I'm assuming you are yanking my chain, right? Oden for Collison? Wow.
