Not surprising, but it's nice that it's official.

Buck is an unknown. I'll be interested to see what Buck brings to the table.

Not sure how much Bernie brings, but I do know he is very nice and very patient man. He put up with me one day for 4 hours on a flight from slc to Charlotte. We talked NBA the whole fight. It was fun...............for me.

Wow, just saw Bernie's resume. He sure didn't last long at each stop.

I've heard that if you change positions often enough she won't even notice how long you last, ABM.

His reputation in Seattle was the opposite. When he was hired as Head Coach, much was made of his having put in 12 years as Asst. Coach in the East. He coached well for a couple of years, then dropped to the floor in a couple of games from a heart problem. Bob Whitsitt had prepared by hiring former Finals Head Coach K.C. Jones as Bernie's assistant. So it was easy to tell Bernie to retire. But later he surfaced with the Nuggets.

He was a good Sonic coach. Lots of pep and personality. A motivator, but used methods the opposite of stodgy McMillan. Think of HCP.
