Aldridge should be a Bull no matter what now with how the draft ended up. I don't see Raps taking him, barring any weird instances, he's coming to Chi-Town.

All the other positions are loaded with young talent, all they really need is a center. This guy is athletic, can block shots, get rebounds, he runs the floor well and he has a decent mid range and pretty polished inside game. He would be a great add.
Someone who can make their really weak front court better so either lamarcus aldridge or andrea bargani. I would like to see lamarcus aldridge in chicago beause he could be like a clone of tyson chandler except better in the future.
Im gonna have to agree with Rok. There is no other big that could take the role on Bulls. Aldridge would be the best fit. Raptors will be taking someone small...Rudy Gay, so Aldridge can be grabed by Bulls. Perfect fit
Isnt Aldridge a PF though? Or can he play C? If so, then obviously pick him. It's not about needing a center, they just a big with a low post presence, Chandler is 7'2 and putting him with Aldridge is a good enough frontcourt that has size.

They have so many talented guards and forwards yet they have no big man down underneath that can do anything. Chandler averages 5 points and 9 rebounds, not to mention almost 4 fouls a game...he's pretty much a bust in my opinion. They have ben gordon, hinrich, luol deng, nocioni, duhon, pargo....if they had a consistent big man they would be nasty. Othella Harrington, Mike Sweetney, Malik Allen, Tyson Chandler are their big men. It's a bunch of NBA Journeymen. The Bulls should draft a big man.
As far as I'm concerned I said they need a big man. But who cares if Aldridge isn't a center is what I'm saying. Chandler is 7'2, that's good enough for center imo, pair him with Aldridge and that's a nice frontcourt. Because Aldridge does what your saying they need, and that's give them something downlow.
Paxson knows wat to do, In my point of view he will not trade anyone and he is determined to have his young core intact plus the addition of aldridge or thomas the baby bulls will be back on the winning ways and who knows they can have the Larry O'brien trophy in the near future
Taking Aldridge makes that team exponentially better.It allows Chandler to move down to the PF position which is much more natural for his play style, and allows loul deng to stay FAR AWAY from the PF position, which he didn't fit in with very well. The Bulls lack a low post scoring option. Add that and let that young core develope and that team is a contender.
