He also said that it wouldn't be a resolution or finality, but that it would be a continuation of said drama. Cutting Mills would be the resolution of the Mills/Johnson debate, so I don't think this is it.

So when are we supposed to find out about this crap? Come on Quick.

Still guessing it's Rudy. Although hadn't heard the oth parties quote. Unless it's just Rudy and Nate, or Rudy and Cho or something.

I think he said it wouldn't be a transaction. We're all waiting for this "48 hour" decision. So I predict it's Mills. Quick likes to play this ego game with us, drawing up our anticipation and getting us to post about him. I bet he's reading this thread right now, laughing with glee. He just did this same thing right before the draft, in what is now interpreted as our offer to get Chris Paul.

I figured drama is a play, so I looked up an athlete in a play and got this. Has some drama-like operatic music, too.

There's your drama regarding a player, and you got it today or tomorrow, just like he said.

Now of course there is probably something lost in translation, but what does Rudy think is going to happen for him with another NBA team? In year two teams had fully scouted him and realized that he can't shake anybody with the bounce, they cut off his baseline cuts for alley-oops and made sure to crowd him on the three point line, forcing him to put the ball on the floor where he's weakest. A two guard without a handle in the NBA is a specialist at best. Rudy might one day even be a Kyle Korver type player, but he's never going to be a starter or a 30 mpg reserve unless he's paired up with a point guard like Paul, Williams or Kidd.

Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Portland has agreed to trade Rudy. So this could be something of the ongoing drama...

Man, you guys need to find something else to do with your time. Just realized in the 15 minutes of answering a phone call and finishing my post to add it, this thread already went to a 6th page and andalusian posted the translation on ReamGM to my link. LOL.

Maybe we can get Khan to give up an unprotected 1st rounder for Rudy...

You mean as a throw in along with Kevin Love right? This is Kahn we're talking about not Isaiah Thomas.

So now we know where he wants to go.

Of course the REAL solution is for us to get Ricky Rubio...

Neither Rudy nor Bayless are better than the starter ahead of them. Perhaps the team should have no back-ups, carry five players, and ensure that nobody gets upset about coming off of the bench? How does a "consolidation trade", whatever that is at this point, eliminate role players whining about not starting?

So what the fuck was this all about? It can't be Rudy, I mean unless Quick is the dullest tool in the shed. How would that be breaking or really dramatic? Shit it has been going on for two years.

Maybe Quick found out that Marc Iavaroni was just hired as an assistant coach with the Clippers. I mean, Dean went there recently as well, so having the Blazer's assistant and head-coach defect to the Clips is drama, no?

You're trading out PG and backup PG for a SF. Unless you think Armon Johnson can start, that's a pretty terrible deal.

Prince has really fallen off over the past few years too, at least defensively. I wouldn't give Miller for him.

Yeah I meant to do Joel, but then it didn't make any sense for DET. My mistake trying to work with what we got. It was a dumb idea hence the delete you got in too fast.

FWIW this is what I had meant to put in grabbed Andre by mistake. Too many CP3 trades had my mind seeing Joel and Andre as virtually the same due to salary.
