Wouldn't that be nice. LOL. I'm still wondering what they could be working on w/ Boston. Rondo is their franchise PG and the only guy that would be an upgrade from Miller. They do have Jermine, Sheed, Big Baby and Perkins all in their frontcourt. But then we have Oden, LMA, Camby and Joel (not to mention Pendy and Cunningham). So we're already too deep there to take any of those guys for their money. I'm stumped on this one. Maybe Nate Robinson for Bayless and Rudy, do those numbers work?
Actually now that I think of it, I don't think Nate can be moved until December 15th. So scratch that one anyway. Just trying to figure out what could possibly work (other than something like a future 1st obviously).
Rudy for a future first seems fair. Everyone calling him garbage should jump for joy at that. We already have Rudy's replacement so trading him for future considerations or other trade chips doesn't hurt us. That's basically what we got for Martell and Martell was more valuable to the team than Rudy.
I smell 3-way trade, involving Rudy and JPEC to Boston, Sheed to team 3 (looking for a cap space deal) and Player X, coming to Portland. Any ideas?
This trade works (espn trade machine) Boston acquires: R. Fernandez J. Pryzbilla J. Pendergraph San Antonio acquires: A. Miller J. Bayless R. Wallace Portland acquires: T. Parker G. Davis
What are the rules on acquiring Sheed and then passing his contract on? Anyone? I see this as a nice chip for you know who.
What about Avery Bradley? I watched him play a bit at Texas and he sure looked like a short 2 guard to me.
