Just heard on 95.5 that the Blazers are looking at another deal that could be announced in the next few days. Quick says Rudy's trade is only #2 on Cho's to-do list.

Now forever known to be the "Cho List". Similar to Schindlers list, but comprising purely of players needing smuggled off the Blazers to other teams.

What about the trade that Quick promised would be revealed today? Or is that the one Quick now says will be revealed in the next few days? Or has Quick been a peeping tom again?

I have no problem with it. It seemed an OK statement to me.

Really? Comparing Blazers trades to the Holocaust doesn't seem a bit much? My wife's of Jewish descent.

Let me break it down for you.

    Mel Gibson = bullshit

    Oliver Stone raised good points.

Hasoos reached for a joke and went over the line. Nothing unforgivable and certainly on par with some of my blunders, but definitely over the line for me. Just MO.

Yea that is a problem I have had all my life. Some of my jokes always go over the top. Didn't mean to anger anybody. And I don't want the thread hijacked.

    Apology accepted?

It was on their sports report at 1:00 PM. No details (so what else is new?). They said that the trade of Rudy to an Eastern Conference team is progressing, but that there's another trade in the works and that's where Cho is spending most of his time right now.

They attributed the info to Quick, so make of it what you will.

You need to fall back. Let's stay on topic and try not offending people at the same time.

Well, I see what you're saying, but I didn't take it that way at all. He just seemed to be using a plot from a popular movie as an analogy. Now, if he had called Cho a chink or stated in his analogy that we had to be as miserly as a kike or something like that, I'd be on board with ya. But maybe we're trying to be just a tad bit too PC? All that to say, I am certain there was no hint, no matter how remote, a slur to Jewish people.

And now I see he has apologized. See, what a great guy! I mean, can't, can't we all just get along?

Maybe making you a little over sensitive?

On topic: Sure would be cool to see something happen. Feels like draft day was forever ago and I'm dying for the Blazers to take some sort of action.

I didn't think it was a slur of the Jewish people. I just felt it was in bad taste. I'm not into the Holocaust being dragged out every time someone criticizes Israeli foreign policy for instance as I think that's dangerous crying wolf. I do think its a reach to compare the Blazers to Birkenau and mildly offensive.

Also, I know what a real slur looks like. Your response reminds me of mine to El Presidente, going a bit far to make a point.

I agree with the second part. Like I said I'm not going crazy, but if I had lost members of my family in the Holocaust I could see what that would be upsetting. It's like jokes about 9/11 have to be pretty careful there or any other large scale loss of life. Anyways, I'm done and don't want to hijack the thread. It's all good.

Back on topic. I wonder what Cho's number one trade is. I'm hoping a trade for an NOH pg, either one really.
