    It's pretty good for the price. Too bad there's 500 channels and nothing on until the basketball season starts ;-)

    You might have held out for a 120Hz LCD though (that's the only negative I see)

    my neighbor has a 120hz and i watched the recent bond movie and it made me uncomfortable. maybe it is 240 i forget

    probably LED TV, which is a bit unnatural and can lead to this.

    The 60Hz vs. 120Hz (newer sets are even 240Hz) is all about how fast the dots on the screen can change color.

    The best way to explain it is like watching the news... the background is pretty much a solid color or doesn't change much. Only the dots that make up the anchor's face move much. 60Hz is plenty good for that.

    When you're watching sports or some other content that has a lot of movement and camera panning, the pixels need to change colors fast. The faster the refresh (240Hz is best) the smoother the picture is going to look.
