Re: Who's played the best in these playoffs? What player has played the best in this year's playoffs? Pretty simple question with a few possibilities for answers. You can iclude players that have already been knocked out. This is mearly individual play and does not include team achievements. I'd say the top canadates have to be:LeBron JamesDirk NowitzkiTim DuncanShaquille O'NealElton BrandI'll post mine later.
Re: Who's played the best in these playoffs? Tayshaun Prince surely turned his game up, but his play doesn't compete with the likes of Lebron James and Elton Brand.
Re: Who's played the best in these playoffs? Add to that list Shawn Marion, he has done absolutely everything possible to help the Suns.Averaging 21 and 11 during the playoffs, including a big game 6 & 7 performances against LA.He has elevated his game to help fill the spot for the injured Amare. No Wade?He is another big playoff player averaging almost 26 points along with 5 boards. He lives off the playoffs and is never a let down for the Heat.

I wouldnt put him up there with the rest of these guys.
Re: Who's played the best in these playoffs? Wrong, through every series he has put up good numbers. He seemed to struggle a bit against Lamar Odom but he still averaged 18 and 9 that series so he really hasn't struggled. He has put up better numbers then Rip including a better field goal percentage. So if your gonna put Rip you gotta throw The Matrix in there also.
Re: Who's played the best in these playoffs? I agree with those listsDirk of courseTim DuncanLeBronShawn MarionElton BrandThese guys have been steller, and if not for Kobe's horrid second half performance in Game 7, he might still be up there
Re: Who's played the best in these playoffs? He hasnt put up amazing numbers compared to his regular season totals. I guess I can understand it though.

Because of that, he shouldnt really be on there..</div>Wrong once again :happy0144: He has posted equal numbers to his regular season.21.8 in regular season, 21.9 is playoffs.Rebounds, 11.8 on regular against his 11 so far in the playoffs. If not for his below average performance against the Lakers he would be averaging around 24 ppg because of his games against the Clippers. This is the playoffs, you don't count what you do in the regular season. If you play good then you play good even if that means playing equal to what you played in the regular season.
Re: Who's played the best in these playoffs? He has played well against the Clippers yes, but the Lakers just screwed him up from being on my list. He was really inconsistent in that series and wasnt making his shot. You forgot to mention that he has had lower blocks, rebounds, steals, fg% in the playoffs. It's not that big of a deal, but to be on these lists, you should have to do better in the playoffs than in the regular season, except for Lebron James because he has still had a stellar playoffs and going up against the Pistons doubling him really hurt his stats.
Re: Who's played the best in these playoffs? Ok,I'm gonna have to say Dirk. The guy lead his team to a victory over the defending champs, hes also averaging 29 ppg on 52 percent fg shooting.Dirks doing a amazing job right now and IS the best player in the playoffs right now.
Re: Who's played the best in these playoffs? Dirk is doing an awesome job, IMO, lebron was the best these playoffs. He beat the wiz in rd 1 and took his team to 7 gms vs. the pistons. this is the start of more postseason success for lebron

Re: Who's played the best in these playoffs? Wow, in game 7 the other night against the spurs Nowitzki played amazing, that three point play at the end of regulation was great, he is really developing into a smart player. He is definitely my pick for best in the playoffs

I didnt look at his stats before I listed him. He just played well in the Cavs-Pistons Games that i saw.

He's been the best player in the playoffs by far, better than lebron and better than kobe. But lakaboy, Lebron's teamates failed him whilst Kobe failed his . Lebron won a series he was supposed to win. Kobe's lakers weren't even supposed to be in the playoffs.
Re: Who's played the best in these playoffs? DWadeDirkLeBronNashDuncanall stand out to me. You could make arguments against two or three of them, I'm sure. I just think there are points where they have risen above difficulties and taken themselves to another level to try to win. Or at least, they are playing at the top of their games as they have for a while, as may be the case for Duncan and Dirk, especially.Edit: One other note I have to make is that Dirk made 21 free throws in that one game against SA. That's pretty sweet.
Re: Who's played the best in these playoffs? Devin Harris has turned his game up to a whole new level. He has matured into a nice young player, and I'm excited to see him play next year.Boris Diaw has also stepped up his game, and he's realized he needs to be a big part of the Suns offense in order to win. He scored 34 points and had the game winning shot against the Mavs. That MIP Award was well-deserved!
Re: Who's played the best in these playoffs? Diaw has stepped it up against Dallas, he's averaging 26 and 7 which are pretty big numbers for some one who averaged 18 points in the playoffs.Devin Harris isn't playing much better then he did in the regular season.Averaging 1 point more while assists and rebounds dropped but his FG% increased. The players who are still in the playoffs who have been playing great are Dirk, Wade, Boris and Tayshaun who has been playing better overall in the playoffs.
