Miami beat out the Chicago Bulls to get House. With a history of clutch shooting that includes multiple big games with the Boston Celtics over the past three years, House will help support Miami’s starry core off the bench.

He also will give the Heat a well-regarded three-point shooter, with 749 treys made in his career at a nearly 40 percent conversion rate.

The Heat are still weighing the possibility of signing free agent Tracy McGrady, league sources said.

Eddie House is exactly what the team needed to space the floor. Having him out there with Mike Miller gives the Trio two capable shooters to prevent teams from cheating on defense.

Not to mention they have Illgauskaus to help with the shooting gallery as well.

In regards to T-Mac I don't see them signing him because he made it loud and clear that he has unfinished business to take care of. This new Miami Heat team is not looking for individual accolades at all. Everyone will have their role and is obligated to stick to it in hopes of attaining the championship trophy. T-Mac usually has to have the ball in his hand to attack and score. Wade and James are great at catching and shooting and creating off of a pass.

Would T-Mac really sign for the vet minimum?

He doesn't seem to have a choice at this point. He and Shaq are looking for work and desperate times call for desperate measures. Not to mention if he got a chance at a championship thats priceless; especially since he has never gotten past the 1st round of playoffs.

How many players can Miami have? Don't they already have 15? I'm guessing Stern will make an exception. Miami gets 20 players.

A great signing for the price.

Although he was terrible last season. Hopefully he gets back to 2009 form.

I think they can sign as many players as they want right now. IIRC, They don't have to be down to 15 until training camp.
