Elton Brand- Taking out the Nuggets might have been easy but bringing the Suns to 7 is not an easy task.LeBron James- Took his team to game 7 against the Pistons when people didn't even think they were going to get past hte Wizards. Although I'm feeling reluctant about putting him on here because of his game 7 chocke against the Pistons.Tayshaun Prince- His performance against the Cavs in game 7 was spectacular and he continues to show off against hte Heat currently.Wade/Shaq- This combo they're going to take out the Pistons! But honestly these two as a team work amazingly well together.Dirk Nowitzki- This guy has been playing great this playoffs. He lead his team to dethroning the Spurs and now he is aiming on taking down the Suns!

Honestly i don't know how it can be anyone but Dirk. He knocked the spurs off with one of his best clutch oments. He's been beasting through in the playoffs.Sorry, it's not lebron nor is it kobe.

Lebron or Kobe might have a better arguement, if either had made it out of the 2nd round.Wade and Dirk have been the only real, long lasting, monsters in these playoffs...but I think what Dirk has done, basically every game, is better than what anyone else has done.

Wade's fourth quarter play has been magnificent. But, Dirk has deffinately done alot better and made a big impact!

Both players have made great impact...but dispatching the Spurs/Suns(if they beat them) would be more of an accomplisment than beating the Nets/Pistons(if they do beat them, which I think they will).Allthough both are impressive feats considering the Nets play at the end of the season.

Yeah I agree with Wade's performance. He is playing unbelieveable right now. Shooting 70% is a remarkable efficiency while at the same time getting other players involved. The Heat needed a great series from Wade to dispatch the Pistons and he is delivering.

The only differences between the two, Dirk and Wade, besides the competition level the Mavs have faced, which is more than the Heat...is that Wade is doing this with another Superstar, while Dirk is doing it with a bunch of role players.I do think Terry is better than "just a role player", and Josh Howard may be establishing himself as a star...but not until this series has he made a major impact.

I think Dirk has impressed the most, just from the way he has shown the evolution of his game in these playoffs. For the longest time i didn't like Dirk, just because i thought he was over hyped, and all he could do is catch and shoot. Watching this season, and most definately the playoffs he has developed a nice arsenal of offensive moves. Watching the way he is attacking the rim, and passing out of double teams compared to the way he used to play has amazed me so much. So my pick is Dirk, followed closely by Wade.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Lakaboy42 @ May 24 2006, 09:03 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Wasn't Lebron something like 1-9?</div>Yes, however he took his team to 14 games, 7 against Detroit. Clevelend shouldn't have won 2 games against Detroit, they overacheived big time due to LeBron. And I'm tired of people comparing this, atleast LeBron tried to do something. When Kobe saw his passing wasn't working, he should have immediately went into a slightly more aggressive mode. But 2 shots? Come on now

I know he hasn't been the best, but Diaw has already scored more in the playoffs than he did in 66 games as a Hawk. :-)

Yeah Diaw has been a great inside guy for the Suns. Not only has he done all the little things he did in the regular season, but he is also scoring the ball well. Without Nash's help too. When I am watching him, he is driving the ball inside or posting up for a 2. He is basically playing like a Power Forward or Center for them, and getting them some much needed inside points. He's been doing a great job and he's averaging 18.2 ppg, which is about 5 ppg more than his regular season totals. Thats amazing.
