Looks like the Bulls are going to hire TP as an assistant. Good luck to him. It's too bad the Blazers can't find a more permanent place for him

You mean find a place for him as a coach on Nate's staff? I don't think that would work too well, it would look a little too much like Allen lining up Nate's successor before the body is even cold. If TP ever comes back here it will be as a head coach and I'm not sure even that would be a great idea.

Oh Snap I was thinking Tony Parker.

Happy to hear Terry found some work

I was thinking Tom Penn - but, yeah, Parker to Bulls would be the cherry on top for their summer.

Too many TP's around - title should state Terry Porter.

Whenever I see people use initials like "TP", I laugh as it often could be several people. Tom Penn, Terry Porter, Tony Parker... the list goes on.

I thought the Blazers had to send toilet paper to Chicago to take Rudy. "If you want us to take your crap" said whoever is in charge of the Bulls front office nowadays - "you need to send us toilet paper too".

They did (kind of); he's been doing the "Blazers ambassador" thing with Jerome Kersey since he got the boot in Phoenix last year. Who knows if they offered more or if he wanted more, but I get the feeling that he wants to coach again and doing the assistant thing for a couple of years means he'll probably get another shot.

Yeah, for all we know, OKC could've traded 2nd rounder Tibor Pleiß for Derrick Rose.
