Saw him tonight at Brian Grant's Event and he looks like he lost 20 lbs since the last game of the season.
good to hear... I'd always rather hear that a Big is focusing on being light/fast and in Greg's case even moreso how are his spirits about next season? STOMP
I was feelin' it! A nice tight mohawk that cam to a point in the back, B.A. Barracus style! Maybe BRoy is starting to get a little attitude!
Good to hear. I opened this thread upfully expacting to see a lame attempt at a joke. Great info, HCP.
Brian T Smith is/was tweeting about Odens weight also... # Lastly, Oden has been working out in Indiana with #Blazers' Medina. Oden looks slimmer than he has in at least a year. about 14 hours ago via Tweed # #Blazers' Oden will meet Monday with a doctor for a regular update. Said there's no doubt he'll be ready for camp. ...I've always wanted GO to be more David Robinson in body and less Shaq. Lets hope less weight will be less stress on those legs!
Anybody with Insider looked at the article on ESPN where Greg estimates his timeline for returning to play?
Sorry guys. I was conned by Blazers Players, Blazers Staff, and Blazer Reporters last time Greg "looked great". He was totally out of shape and wasn't allowed to get into shape until after the season started.
Reminds me of all the years we heard Shawn Kemp had lost 40 lbs and was going to be a beast again... Then the same worthless fat ass would show up to camp. I hope Greg is lighter but until I see pictures of him I won't get my hopes too high.
http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/68482/20100802/oden_positive_hell_be_ready_for_camp/ Five-hour drills.. woah. That will definitely slim him down, just don't over do it.
To be honest, I'm a little surprised about the talk of him being ready for training camp. I thought, even last winter, that there was no question Oden would be ready for training camp and there would be no problems. I'm glad he is "positive" he'll be back for training camp and there haven't been setbacks, but I was already assuming this was the case.
