NHL.com I have a lot to add for any Thrashers fan. Let me start with Dustin Byfuglien, as you will probably start calling him Big Buf, or Buf because that last name is a little difficult to spell at first, until you learn it. Byfuglien started off the season on the defensive side of the ice, and did an okay job there, but he was moved to Forward for a reason that I don't know why, probably because he was playing better there. But the one cool thing I will miss about Byfuglien is the fact hes versicle and hes a big body in front of the other teams goalie. Hes a big guy, and blocks a lot from the goalie, and he can also still play defense. When the Blackhawks had some injuries, he went back to D. Ben Eager can grow one hell of a playoff beard, and hes a hell of a fighter and checker. He brings in that aggression that all teams love to have. He will stand up for your guy's Kane. Andrew Ladd is also another big guy. Hes a powerful forward, he can hit like the best of them and score when he needs to. I liked Ladd a lot, hes a great adition to the Thrashers organization. Brent Sopel is an older defensman, he is a bit slow, but he is a beast at blocking shots. Hes a very good addition for the Thrashers penalty killing unit. Hes willing to get hit by a puck to defend his net. He is not a shooter at all, but he does make some amazing goals once in a blue moon.
