Problem is, no AD in his right mind would dare step up to the podium and declare, "We've decided to go in a different direction. Therefore, Joe Paterno will not be returning to coach our football team. We wish him all the best."

    Right?

He runs a clean program that consistently performs at a high level.

Dude can't even talk! He's, like, 102. Another case of someone who doesn't know when to say when. I'm sure his assistants have the majority of the responsibilities, and he's just the Saturday afternoon "figure head" at this point.

Just my opinion, though. I'm sure their are countless of folks who think he should keep on keepin' on. Those are opinions, as well, so it's all good. :)

He is the 2nd best coach in the Big 12, behind the Sweater Vest

Sir I think you have an excellent point and this would make an interesting article that you should write and post on Bleacher Report!

Better yet, I'll save it for TMZ, then wait for you to be the first to share the link.

Huh? The only time I might have ever posted a TMZ link on here is when I saw something mentioned on google news or drudgereport.

I'd say Joe Pa has accomplished more in his career than Tressel.

    I think he should stay.

He's the figurehead of a great program that brings in a lot of money for the school. He certainly isn't embarrassing himself or the school. And as for him not being able to speak, well ABM........
