The 29-year-old is hopeful a deal can be finalised with his club Montpellier in the next few days. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is desperate for cover in defence after Sol Campbell, William Gallas and Mikael Silvestre all left the club this summer. Wenger has added just Laurent Koscielny from Lorient to his squad but Spahic could be next to arrive at the Emirates. I read up on this guy, found this video. Fell slightly in love with him, not sure if it will happen, but he is super aggressive which translates well into the English game. I wouldn't spend over 5 mil on the guy, last year was the first year he played 1st team club football at the ripe old age of 29..
