One thing we all have in common whether we are writers, editors, bloggers or just the average Joe that keeps up with boxing news, is that we are all fans of this sport that is reluctantly diminishing. You cannot be that good and not face one another in the sport you both sweat blood and tears for. Imagine football with no Superbowl because AFC didn’t want to play NFC or vice versa. Imagine basketball with no championship, imagine baseball with no World Series. Those major sports wouldn’t be nearly what they are today if they did not have that last and final game of the season or series of the season. If I’m allowed to give my opinion I’d say Pay per view killed boxing. To many people with the options to hand pick fights. It’s quite frustrating to be honest.
