Greetings. O-Live migrant here. Never heard of BBF but apparently they have a higher degree of basketball sophistication than O-Live participants. Come to find out many BBF's are here because they were banned from BBF? So the BBF rejects are in here hoping O-Livers quit finding out about this place and bringing down the neighborhood? Really? Am I caught up? Thanks for any clarification. Sincerely, BBFs are not my BFFs so far.
Banned? No sir. We migrated because the moderators didn't give us the respect we deserved over there. Afterall, we were the pulse of that entire website. Oliver's are kinda like the smelly kid that wears sweatpants and L.A. Gears. BBF'ers are the cool kids wearing Jordans and rocking Levi's.
I wouldnt take it seriously. We all poke a lot of fun at eachother here. And that includes a lot of us O-live refugees that have been here a while.
lol nope not that I know of, it takes a LOT to get booted here. You are able to change your posting name/moniker though without creating a new profile.
you'll find the people who have actually been banned here. are total douchebags who really deserve to be banned. If you are called a noob or rookie here, I think its because we recently had an influx of really mouthy noobs in July lol.
BBF had a very strong and active Blazer community. There was what should have been a minor dispute between some users and one Blazer mod. Mods from other forums (who were a bit jealous of how active our forum was) jumped in and poured fuel on the fire. When some of the people running the site turn into trolls and start making a group of users feel unwelcome, the users aren't going to stick around. As for O-Live....I checked the place out years ago before starting on BBF. I don't know about now, but back then the "Blazer" forum was a playground for Laker fans/trolls. Posts defending the Blazers were deleted, and pro-Blazer posters were even getting banned for sticking up for the team. At that time, the place was a septic tank.
There is honestly no way to explain the BBF thing to someone coming from O-live and new to your guys' community (I was in the same boat) I honestly had to see it for myself lol.
