    Rudy was actually pretty good about attacking the rim until he got into McMillan's system. (reminder, you asked for it....sort of)

    I think KP might have out-smarted himself on that move. My guess is that he saw Claver as a sleeper who might be poised for a real breakout a year or two down the line, but ultimately he's looking a whole like a guy stuck between two positions defensively.

    I saw him get a nice dunk but it was waved off. But in general, I haven't been impressed by him. I think, like Sergei Monya, he's never going to live up to his early hype, a lot of which was based on him being pretty athletic for a white guy.

    But who did we really miss out on with Claver, that we couldn't also have got with our picks at the top of the second round? Don't say Beaubois, because the only reason Dallas swapped picks with us was with the understanding they got Beaubois. (But I guess the fact that he was drafted with a Blazers pick was enough to ensure that he broke his foot.)

    No, but I think about 1 out of 3 turning to gold is pretty reasonable. How many have turned into Gold since Roy?

    Greg, Rudy, Batum and Bayless weren't exactly bad picks. KP might have fucked up the 09 draft, but he did very well in 07 and 08.

    Dallas? Didn't he only play for Toronto?
    And the answer is: he got pretty seriously injured playing for Spain, the Raptors got pissed off with him, and they mutually agreed to tear up his contract.

    Batum is on the verge of it. Especially considering where we took him. I'd say Cunningham relative to where he was selected is pretty great as well.

    Casspi isn't all that. I don't think he'll end up being better than Dante. I think he looked better as a rookie because he'd been in pro leagues before, but he's got Matt Harpring as his ceiling.

    meh, I think he's already better than Harpring.

    Harpring was just a pesky defender and a played the tough guy role. Casspi is a perimeter player who can take it to the hoop as well. I think Casspi led the league for awhile last year in the 3FG%
