    Great News!

This team is nothing like "years past" for Dre, he knows this team is special and he's stepping up his game. I can't wait to see him take over the reigns from the start this season

You are really dedicated to your craft Nik. A real method actor. Day in day out, getting in character, kicking kittens, spitting on babies. All for your art. It's beautiful man. Most amazing part is you never drop character.

I was amazed last year how much Dre Miller had in the tank at 34. You gotta think that without the start of the season turmoil of last year he is going to be as sharp as a tack and ready to roll this year. If everybody in the starting five is 100% this season I believe its potentially the best squad he's ever played with

    Miller
    Roy
    Batum
    LMA
    Oden/Camby

Prior to this year, the best squad he played with was the 05-06 Nuggets who won the NW division title (but lost in the first round). Similar to the Blazers the past two years..?

With that being said, I'm expecting a solid run at the NW title this year by the Blazers

Hell we saw Jason Kidd finally get a 3 point shot at a late age. Perhaps Miller can add that to his game. If he got in shape, and added a 3 point shot to his game so players can't sag off him, he would be a much more effective player.

I don't think Kidd ever "GOT" a 3 point shot, I might be wrong, but doesn't he always just jack a ton up?

He's got a pretty nice little set shot three pointer that he added to his game pretty late in his career. I won't be holding my breath on Dre' doing the same though.

Yep exactly. Kidd can only hit the shot if his feet are set. But that is better than Miller. Who on top of not hitting the shot, has really bad mechanics.

Ludicrous that a professional athlete who is paid many millions per year would wait 'til offseason to get in shape.

    WTF?

He can do what he wants as long as he doesn't miss games and produces on the court!

    He's also a veritable NBA iron-man. Wonder if there's a correlation there?
