I'll bet ya a slice a pizza that my quote is much closer to reality than yours. The Suns exploiting our lack of movement on offense and Nate standing with his arms folded, or Greg threatening Wilt's 100 point game.....hmm

This season, PHX might be the league's worst rebounding team, while we can potentially be the best. We're gonna kill them on the glass.

Lopez is a pretty decent rebounder, but the rest of that frontline is suspect. The Suns are going to have a very weird "bigs" rotation.

    Nash/Dragic
    Richardson/Childress
    Hill/Dudley
    Hedo/Warrick/Clark/Lawal
    Lopez/Channing

Yeah, that's going to be a pretty lousy rebounding team. Robin Lopez is an ok rebounder (14% TRB) and so is Amundson (16% TRB--but nothing else) but it's nothing compared to Oden and Camby (both at 22%). And it falls off sharply after that.

I can't wait to see if Batum has been working on his offense this summer. You know the first thing Phoenix is going to do is hide Nash on him like they did in the playoffs. Now that Nic is (hopefully) healthy and (hopefully) working on his post up game, he'll have his first opportunity to show us what he can do.

Well, Nic is going to be France's clear cut first option in the Worlds in a month (and he was a big part last year in the European championships), so I tend to think we'll see a much more aggressive offensive game from him when training camp opens up ... I think others like Aldridge and Greg will still be ahead of him in the pecking order, but if he can put the ball on the floor more consistently and be more of a triple-threat scorer that would be a pretty big boost to this team.

Well, on to game two. We're at the Clippers now. Please post updates for those of us unable to watch.

Maybe we can go through the entire season before training camp.

    Won't that be fun.

without a doubt. If Aldridge can keep what he has, and Greg can stay healthy, Batum will be a HUGE boost with a few plays called for him. I am excited :NOTMARIS:
