Well, the Blazers need to replace Darius Miles and draft some size because Ratliff wont be around for much longer, and Pryzbilla doesnt scare anyone offensively. Since theres not many good big men that can bang inside in this draft, except Eric Hicks, who's way too small to be effective, with our first pick, #4, I hope we take Rudy Gay if he's on the board, because he's like Darius without the horrible attitude and probably even better athleticism. However, I think the guy that would really be the best fit is Rodney Carney. He has more college experience than Gay, and is probably a better athlete. He high jumped 6'11" as a junior in HS. He's got great elevation on his jumper and some impressive range, and when he gets hot, you better watch out. Plus, unlike Rudy, Rodney showed the ability to take over games when he needed to, the sign of a star. Both players still have so much room to grow, but I think Carney is the safer pick, because he can also play lockdown defense. So I hope we draft Carney, but it might be a stretch to take him at 4, so maybe trade down to get him. With our second pick, #30, we need a big man. So I hope we go with Milsap from LA Tech, or Josh Boone from UConn. Boone seems raw and unproven to me, while Milsap was able to dominate, but not at the level of competition Boone played against. Milsap is obviously a PF also, and we need a replacement for Ratliff and someone who can score better than Pryzbilla. We might even have to stretch and go with Paul Davis or someone like that here, I'm really not sure. With our third pick, #31, we need someone who can play some lockdown D on good perimeter players like Rube did before he left. So I hope we get PJ Tucker, who can also contribute offensively better than Ruben did, and has all the physical ability to be a Ruben Patterson/Bruce Bowen type defender in this league.Lets hear what you guys want for your teams.

The GM of the Raptors will not do that, he isn't stupid, he is going to get size for the team, someone like Andrea Bargnani, who can fit right in with Charlie Villanueva and Chris Bosh.
At the 18th pick, I'd like to get a guard, maybe even a combo guard, like Rajon Rondo, if he falls to us. Imagine Rondo with Arenas...anyways, he's good at penentrating to the basket, his shot isnt great, but that can be perfected later in his career. If he hasnt been picked, we should take him. If Shelden Williams also falls to us, pick him.At the 49th pick, I'd want to get a banger inside. Someone like Pops Mensah-Bonsu. Yeah, he's not an offensively skilled big man, but thats not we need. We have our skilled big man in Jamison. We just need someone that can give us a presence inside on offense and defense. He isnt really getting alot of attention from other teams, we're really the only team thats interested in him. Kevin Pittsnoggle would be my 2nd choice. He can play PF/C, and shoot the three. He'd be great in our situation because the opposing team's defense would focus so much on Gil that Pittsnoggle would be left wide open so that Gil could kick it out back to him for a 3. He'd be great in our offense. He's not a good rebounder or defender, but he'd give defenses alot of trouble. I dont think he'll be available at the 49th, though.
well the Suns have 21st and 27th picks. I would like to see two solid back-ups taken there, maybe a PG like Farmar from UCLA and a big man with the oher pick.
With the 13th pick Im hoping for the Sixers to either take Mardy Collins, Patrick O'Bryant, or Sheldan Williams. O'Bryant will probably be already taken though by the 13th pick. Mardy Collins would be good because hes a 6'6 point guard which is really good but because of his size he can also play shooting guard. He could be a very good backup behind AI. Sheldan Williams or Patrick O'Bryant just because the Sixers really need a big man. Also if we did get one we could afford to trade away Webber and save us a lot of money.
I would like to see the Raptors draft Rudy Gay because he is the best prospect out there, he is multy talented, freakishly athletic, only 19, and can play the guard and SF.
I want to see the Mavs go for Richard Roby or Rudy Fernandez in the first round. Occupy the shooter we need at sg, and also a replacement for Stack the following year. Then in the 2nd round, pick up a big man such as J.P. Batista or Brad Buckman. Scrappers who play their role. Barring any sleepers that fall, that's basically what I'd like to see.
I would like to see the Rockets draft Brandon Roy. We are in need of a SG who can step up when are two star players are out.
