The defenders feel safer and can take more chances pushing the ball forward. The midfielders don't feel the need to hang back, either. Poor goalkeeping changes the dynamic of the team. Everyone ruses to get back, plays break down, the offence stagnates. Focusing too much on defending can also have the opposite effect, causing congestion and confusion in the box and leading to mistakes. It is really frustrating because two or three signings are needed to make us legit title contenders. It is great that Wenger has faith in the guys he's developed but not at the expense of winning trophies. We're talking about starting Fabianski, Frimpong, Wilshere, Koscilny, and Chamakh on Sunday--what more can be said? Are we not in it for the title this year?

I've read almost 50 different articles saying that the deal is close to completion. Warren Barton has also said he will join Arsenal. Would be very happy if this was true.
