<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>DALLAS -- Josh Howard is a Friday night maybe for the Dallas Mavericks on that bruised ankle.Raja Bell is praying for a Sunday return from his scary calf strain but is vowing to come back to the Phoenix Suns at some point in this series even if Game 3, 4 or 5 proves to be too soon.Garrett Ellwood/NBAE/Getty ImagesAmare Stoudemire is working hard to return next season.Amare Stoudemire? "No," Suns coach Mike D'Antoni said firmly. "Medically, he probably could give it a try," D'Antoni continued, "but he's not ready. We put it on the shelf that day."</div> LinkI really doubt it will happen, but wouldnt that be amazing?

Well, his knees should be okay, but I'd rather not have him back right now. But with all these injuries we need all the depth we can get and I'm sure he can give us at least 1 strong game. I've been hearing about this on Arizona boards for a while. I think he might help, but he could also hurt us if he's not close enough to 100%. If he's as slow and has as little lift in his legs as his last comeback I say just forget about it.

Wont happen. It was dumb enough for him to come back that one game, so idk why he would come back now. Its almost a blow to Mavs if you think about it. Trying to bring back their All-Star just make their chances higher on beating the Mavs

He came back for three games. And they wont just bring him back to try to beat the Mavs, it would be to try to win the championship.

You stole my article, you homo!He won't make a comeback, if Coach D'Antoni even said "Maybe" it would be all over the news. But he's obviously not going to come back, he firmly said no. And thats good, because you don't want to risk a more severe, re-occurence of the injury in the playoffs, and risk his Playing time next year

No, it was not dumb to bring Amare back earlier. It was to see if he was ready. He was supposed to be after that all-star break and they gave him more time so they should've seen what he could do.Yes Lazy, it's a blow to the Mavs because the Suns want to have a chance at winning by bringing back a player that's on their playoff roster. Give me a break...

I don't see it happening. I think he would only hurt the team and his self. Just keep him on the shelf until next year. You don't want it to get even worse.

I think they could beat all three teams left if they had him back.

If we weren't the most unlucky team in the world we would be dominating this year, but sh*t happens and they have dealt with their misfortunes just fine.

Just wait till next year.Well actually, if they make the Finals it could be a possibility. Everyone dreams of playing in the Finals. If they make it (doubtful), it's likely he will give it a 1 game shot.

Even if Amare were to come back he would hurt the Suns because they wouldn't be able to run with him lagging. They would lose if they brought him back.

Amare is a very young guy and the Suns wouldn't risk his career by playing him in the playoffs right now.
