Tom Kowalski of MLive.com reports that the team's backup middle linebacker told several people after the game he will miss the season. Lions coach Jim Schwartz wouldn't confirm that, only saying it was "serious." Dizon started on Saturday night in place of injured middle linebacker DeAndre Levy and was a backup on the team's nickel defense. Matt Millen selected Dizon No. 45 in Millen's final draft, and the lightweight linebacker has struggled to see the field because of a lack of physicality.
