omg, Laker fans talk about Kobe being hated. Big deal, it's the truth and many people dont know about it. If youre so tired of it why be here. The fact still remains and people will say it. Especially Laker fans, because that's the situation that is present.Deal with it. If youre trying to change it, it wont happen.

Deal with it? You deal with it, no teams fans cry more than Lakers fans about disrespect towards Kobe...ohhh wahhhh...wahhh...Kobe doesn't get respect...oh cry me a river....<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Lakaboy42 @ May 27 2006, 03:52 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>So basically, because the Lakers have 14 championships, you expect us to sit here and let people say stuff about the team we've loved for years and the player that some of us look up to as a hero. Show me a case where someone threw a piss fit, I wanna see it. And about the whole bandwagon thing, don't assume a team's fans are bandwagoners just because they've consistently been better than everyone else.

It's not really that big of a deal that Kobe is being hated anyways. I'm just pointing it out, aNd that point is a given in this topic.

How can people who cheer for a team that went 2-18 to end last season and get only a seven seed this season be considered bandwagoners? And if you really want to get into this argument, almost every big market team (with history) has a strong national fan base. Look at the Packers, Cowboys, Lakers, Bulls, Dodgers, Cubs, etc.

I'm not going to look it up but it's been all over where Lakers fans instead of just laughing at idiots just go crazy against 'Laker haters'...and take issue over every little thing...I remember RealDeal posting a lot of it. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Show me a case where someone threw a piss fit, I wanna see it. What? You can't be a fan if you've never been to a game? I have been to one NBA game in my entire life (Lakers @ Pacers for my birthday last year), doesn't make me any less of a fan.

BTW, you shouldn't just make up numbers to try to look smart, it makes you look pompous.BTW, I have been to Lakers games, I've been a fan since 99, I was 6, and my dad's whole family's from LA.

As fouled out said, why would anyone bandwagon a 7th seeded team? A team which finished 2-18 last season? Why don't we bandwagon onto the mavs? or heat?

So all of a sudden you have to be there to truely be a fan? I want you to read that over and try not to see something worng with that. That is tottally not the case.So you have to see your favorite artist/band live for them to be your favorite. There is something wrong there, weak argument as well, please admit that.

But why would we still be on the lakers if were all bandwagoners? When we finished 34-48 why didn't we jump off to another team?

I've sided with the Lakers for over 750 games since '97.I guess I'm not a true fan then. Just because I live in Canada. I really hope you were being sarcastic there. And so automatically you have to pick an unsuccessful team to be a fan too?
