This data doesn't tell the full story. For example Tim Duncan was drafted by the Spurs only because Robinson had a season ending injury the previous year and the Spurs record was worse than it would've been if Robinson was never injured. With Robinson back and the addition of Duncan obviously the Spurs were going to win a lot more games than the prior season. Buck Williams name also sticks it out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of the names on the list. I'm surprised Chris Webber didn't make the list he had a huge impact for the Warriors his rookie season. They made it all the way to the WCF.
Buck Williams put up 15/12 on 58% shooting as a rookie. The Nets were 24-58 the season before, and 44-38 his rookie season.
