Mike Leach, the fired Texas Tech football coach last season, will be back in college football this fall — on TV. Cable TV's CBS College Sports Network has hired Leach as a game analyst. He'll team with veteran announcer Roger Twibell, also joining the channel this fall. Leach coached Texas Tech to ten consecutive bowl games before being fired after a controversy involved a player who is the son of ESPN/ABC announcer Craig James — and has an ongoing lawsuit against Texas Tech. Good for him. It will give him good practice at guarding his tongue and speaking a little more diplomatically so next time he has a job he won't lose it by speaking without giving it proper thought.
