hmmm, maybe if you didn't seem biased against the Suns I could take this more seriously.Marion is a great player, who often has to guard the big man and still brings down big rebounds, blocks shots and steals the ball better than most people in the league.
Marion is not overrated. He has a ok shot. He could score though. The suns dont run plays for him. But he is a great deffensive player. He could go from covering a guard to tim duncan.
I actually like Shawn marion. The list of people on the suns i hate are1- Steve Nash2- Mark Dantoni3- Raja belledit: He cannot guard the best player in the league when he got abused by Lamar odom.

Because in the three seasons he played w/o Nash or Kidd he averaged 19.8 ppg. Seriously though it only seems like your just biased against the Suns. Marion is a great player. What your saying could be arguably true if Marion was only a scorer. That isnt the case though. Shawn Marion is the best rebounder on the Suns, best defender, a pretty good shot blocker, a great dunker, very athletic and quick, and does a lot of the dirty work for the Suns. melo, how can you hate a coach? and i think Marion is overrated as a scorer, but not necessarily as a player. Except for by the ppl that said he was MVP of the suns. that's just ridiculous.
Well, you could make a case about that. If they didn't have Marion they wouldn't have been in this position right now. If they didnt have Nash same thing. But I have to agree, Nash is more important to the Suns.

Why i hate Dantoni1- After game 7, he said "We kicked the lakers ass, now let's kick the clippers ass"2- He coaches the sunsAnd marbury was good back in 2003, the year he took the spurs to game 6. surely if no plays are set for him and he still scores the amount he does it only makes it more impressive?

I hate the suns, i must admit that. However, i don't hate everyone on the team. Boris Diaw is one of my favourite players, barbosa the brazilian blur is also one i like. I just don't like the classless punks on their team.

Marion is vastly overrated.I mean, he only made the top 5 in all the defensive stats, score 20 points in a balanced offense, become a DPOY candidate, grab 11 boards a night when he is 6"7, become an athletic freak on offense and stretch the defense apart.I cant believe people like this guy!
