dude, its KP's Fault we got to this with Rudy, he should have traded him last summer, when some of us knew this was going to happen, playing in this system and behind Brandon Roy...

"get off X's nuts" is the worse phrase ever invented. I look down on people who use it.

If this is true, Rudy can F off. It's amazing how quickly he's fallen from grace with the fans and (likely) the organization.

I believe the blazers management at the top, especially Larry Miller, a yes-man for Vulcan and Paul Allen are difficult to deal with. The air around the franchise is not one of transparency nor of a culture of winning. If this current path continues the next guy to want to get out will be Greg Oden. Then once he is gone and on another team playing well, the Blazers will fade back into lottery fodder and Paul Allen will decide the time is right to move the franchise or sell it once the fan support has dried up.

It seems the Blazers have been less than stellar recently in negotiating with players and staff.

"Disappointed in Rudy/Miller. Will not get into a war of words in the media with them."

"Will work in the best interest of the team."

"We will make a trade if we improve the team, or if we can get an asset for later."

"I don't know if it's a surprise, per se, that he's complaining. It's his prerogative to speak."

"If he doesn't show, the CBA calls for a suspension and fine. I'm gonna continue to look for a way to trade him. But I'm not gonna make a trade just to make one. It has to improve the team."

"I'll listen to any offer. But I'm not gonna make a bad deal (sounds a bit shaken up)."

"I've spoken to Miller quite a bit since I've been hired, and know about Rudy's feelings. It's unfortunate that he feels this way, and it's unfortunate that he's going to the media, but I don't feel any more of a sense of urgency than I did last week. I'm going to do what's best for the org. I will not be strongarmed into making a bad deal. And he's not helping his cause now."

Re: Rudy's value: "stats sited... it's not like he's not been given a chance. He's played quite a few minutes. He's been given a chance. I still think he's a good player..."

"I'm hoping to come up with a solution, but I don't know what it is right now. He's not helping his cause by making his feelings public."

While you're focusing on the past the rest of us are focusing on the present and future.

    >IF< it is true that the team could have gotten a first rounder from Toronto, then Cho made a mistake. Toronto could easily be a lotto team for the next several seasons.

OTOH, if all he turned down was a pick from a probable play-off team, then it wasn't a huge loss. :dunno:

Mushroom into what? A bench player who doesn't accept his role wants out to play in Europe. This has a mushrooming effect on the team how?

TOPS in the league? Then why aren't people tearing KP's door down to get to him? Dude is unemployed. Maybe he should have taken the high road and told his weasel of an agent to piss off.

Secondly, a good trade is a good trade, regardless of leverage. You think a team will turn down a trade that improves their team because we're on some shit list? According to most it was KP's arrogance that got us on that shit list in the first place (not my opinion), and now we're defending him? I'm lost.

I feel our organization is in far better shape than most, at least we have our superstar locked up for 5 years. We didn't lose B-Roy to free agency (LeBron, Bosh, Amare, Boozer) or are about to lose him for nothing in two short years (Chris Paul and Carmello Anthony).

I just like how Cho is being blamed for this despite it being cited that Rudy requested a trade during Pritchard's tenure here and Pritchard didn't even notify Allen of this request.

Curse you Cho for not resolving this situation immediately! YOU ARE THE NEW DAVID KAHN!

You're playing chicken little. I understand its cute to play devils advocate these days, but lets be real.

Oden doesn't give a shit that Rudy's a prima donna, nor does the rest of his teammates. If Rudy were to stay he'd be a 3rd string SG, I don't blame him for sitting out.

Now back to the regularly scheduled saga of a couple posters being naive in order to rile up everyone else with their nonsense.

I'd be pretty disappointed if Cho's first major act as GM was to let himself be strong armed into making a trade he didn't want.
