The 6th edition of the Czech open is here. It is taking place at the Prosper Resort in Celadna from the 19th August to 22nd August, 2010. The event has a haphazard history as it was started in 1994, when for the first time it took place under the European tour banner. The winner of the tournament was Per-Ulrik Johansson. Since then tournament took place every year till 1997 after which it was removed from the European tour list. That year Bernhard Langer claimed the title and after a gap of 11 years it returned back in 2009 to be re- included on the European tour. A little about the ravishing course on which the Czech open is taking place; the course is considered as one of the easiest courses with its narrow fairways and undulating greens. In fact a rumour prevails that all a player needs is long tee shots and good putting, rest is a duck shoot. This year the anticipated winner to take Czech Opens trophy is Pelle Edberg due to his unique golfing qualities.
