Dustin Risdon missed the cut of the Knoxville News Sentinel Open on Friday.

Earlier in the day, the Nationwide Tour pro nearly missed his tee time after spending almost eight hours in jail.

Risdon, 29, of Strathmore, Alberta, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Friday on Cumberland Avenue and charged with public intoxication, according to records.

Risdon made his scheduled 12:50 p.m. tee time for the second round. At 11 a.m., he was making a $500 bond to be released from the Knox County Sheriff's Detention Facility, according to Knox County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Martha Dooley.
