Kevin McHale seems committed to keeping their superstar Kevin Garnett happy. [READ]</div> God this franchise has no direction whatsoever. What a joke.
With KG gone now the Timbywolves are going down in the standings and fast. If they want a veteran, I guess they can try and grab Chris Webber but I think they should focus on bringing young talent to their team, maybe try and grab randy foye.

Why are they willing to trade the pick to help KG if they are trading KG? Unless this is Kevin McHale (Who has said KG is not leaving) using a smokescreen...

The guy wants to win. He has to get out of that franchise. It's a joke.
KG knows they aren't winning a title next year...he knows the team that would trade for him would trade some of it's winning components to Minnesota making it hard to win a title..he's not an idiot.
The problem is that no team that wants KG has enough that would actually make a KG deal even. I want to see my boy Marcus Williams in a Wolves uniform next season. That would be a nice combo and I think they could do better than if they trade the pick.

If you guys did draft a Marcus Williams, Rudy Gay or Randy Foye it would be the best young player the Wolves have added in six or so years. I think you guys are better off picking a star kid this year than sacrificing yourselves down the road. (Because you know damn right your not winning a title next season, best you pick a guy that in two or so years can be a great player. And if it's a PG thats great because lottery PG's almost always turn out).
The main reason that the Timberwolves collapsed this season is because they didn't have any good yong players. The reason for that is because they screwed up that contract with Joe Smith. They need the young players other wise in other couple of years they will be doing bad again.
