Heavyweight contender David Tua (51-3-2, 43 KO’s) will likely be back in action on November 25th against either 40-year-old Kali Meehan ((35-4, 29 KO’s) or Solomon Haumono, according to boxing news from >stuff.co.nz. Tua, 37, is coming off a disappointing 12 round draw with journeyman Monte Barrett on July 17th. What made the results of that fight especially bad for Tua was that he didn’t finish strong. Tua was knocked down by Barrett in the 12th and was clearly hurt. To his credit, he got up off the canvas and continued to fight well for the rest of the round buy it wasn’t a good sign that Tua was knocked down in that fight.
