Reverend King may not agree with you, though.

How many people in this picture? The mall is 1/2 mile long, or about 8x as long as that football stadium.

    1. All videos and pics of the supposed event are from earlier stock footage shot at huge Democrat rallies, per standard FOX procedures.

    2. Beck's underlings visited all the soup kitchens in town and told them there would be free food and Mad Dog 20-20 for all attendees at the "Glenn is My God" rally.

Why do you say that? What's your argument for that take? I could give plenty of reasons why Beck choosing MLK day is very wrong, but I would be more interested in why you think King would support Beck.

In all seriousness, ignoring your math, look at the crowd, Does it look that much bigger than the picture i posted of the stadium? I would believe 100k, and maybe even 150k.

He's suggesting that King being a reverend would make him sympathetic to Beck's quasi-religious bluster.

It looks like the same density of people as in your picture, but you can't ignore that the football stadium looks like 200 yards long while the mall is 850 yards long.

On the other hand, it's pretty scary that Obama could fill a stadium for a political speech when he was running, and Beck is basically doing the same - if not more.

    You mean this Reverend King:
    Or this one:
(ooh, I think Glenn would find that a bit racist)

    Or this one:
    (there he goes again!)

    Or how about this:
    Or this:
(I think Glenn, if he actually knows what the Great Society was, would be very happy about this)

No. Reverend Martin Luther King would see Beck for the phony blowhard that he is. But being a Christian man, I'm sure he'd forgive him his death of the spirit.

Incidentally: what is American Honor, what happened to it, and how is it going to be restored, thanks to those moral and intellectual giants Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin? Does it involve shooting things from helicopters?

    Honor cannot be restored.

You either got it or you don't.

Beck and Palin don't even know the meaning of the word.

I see Beck as like a lot of TV evangelists. I just don't believe anything he says. They both seem to use religion as a means to and end.

I try not to get one sided on any political stance, or rail too much on one political talking head - but after hearing portions of Beck's speech, I'm now convinced this dude is straight bat shit crazy. But he's entertaining in a circus freak show kind of way. He's fun to watch!

Yeah, a little. But no more scared of these people than the loud crazies that emerged during Bush's tenure. They're all the same to me. The loud minority. It's a lot like the dynamic on this here forum!
