http://www.nba.com/webAction?actionId=surv...veyId=1152 <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Above is the email address for the league offices. The officiating has progressively gotten worse over the course of the last 3-4 years. The regular season was marred with no-calls, bad calls, and plenty of no calls. Now the Playoffs are upon us and the officiating couldn't be worse. If you are having problems as many fans are with the officials, please let the league office know your feelings. The only way they will listen to fans is if we bombard them with our problems and our thoughts. Thanks.</div> This is how bad it's gotten for some fans, emailing the NBA. Do you think NBA offciating has gotten this bad or do you think it's overblown by outraged fans?

I think people need to calm down on the officials. They are humans, not machines. Of course they are going to miss some calls.

Sure they can miss some calls, but they can't start making ridiculous calls for a team like in the Cavs vs. Pistons round... Some of the calls are terrible, get some new refs, jebus christ.

I thinkt he major thing is the stubborness of referees. They aren't supposed to look at the score, then they come out and act more emotional than an NBA player on a late-game call, yet they still say they don't look at the score. When a player tries to talk to them, they don't listen. However, I have tried reffing youth games before, and it's real tough. When watching a game, you are able to say if a call is right or wrong. As a ref, you have to make that call without comparison, and it's tough. They do a decent job, sometimes less than stellar, but they are generally not the reason for the outcome of games
