Any word on the cultural informal practices that have taken place each of the last several years? Seems to me they usually get started up now?
On a 15-man roster, 2 of 5 spots being half the roster is about 1 guy too many. So our roster is one move away from being balanced.
I think there is a difference between having balance and having a happy team. Portlands problem is more of having a happy team. On good teams, sometimes some good players have to sit. The question is, do they buy in to try and get a ring, or do they cause problems?
My guess is the ones with a brain would not buy into the ring option. They see a team that has been crushed several times in the playoffs the last two years, and hasn't been close to advancing to the second round. While injuries played a part in that last year, they still didn't come close to sniffing the second round. It would be hard to convince someone to buy into the ring option when the players know they haven't been close.
That's what I keep hearing from some people. I know they swept the Spurs? I don't think they were small up front?
You do realize we took Phoenix to 6 games? Yeah they swept the Spurs, we would have done the same thing (Considering we swept them in the regular season). You honestly think with a healthy Roy, Oden, Joel and Batum we would have lost? *facepalm.*
Not only do I think they would have won, but had everyone been healthy all year we would have went undefeated.
