There's been so many players like that at Oregon that didn't live up to their hype. Heck, the only guys that really panned out were the guys from the Northwest; Ridnour, Jackson, Freddie Jones and Brooks. Even Hairston and Taylor were disappointments to me.
Altman has shown a couple of things so far. Unable to get any traction regarding blue chip players Players leaving the program. Ya, that was a great hire.
Because everybody thought this was going to be fix? Don't kid yourself. Kent managed to have 7 players in the same class......many of which were highly touted and none have reached their predicted potential. It's going to take years to get the program back on stable ground. Honestly some attrition is a good thing to balance out the seniority of the team.
