Karo "The Heat" Parisyan is back in the UFC, according to Ariel Helwani. Parisyan pulled out of UFC 106 following a prolonged battle with painkillers, his weight, and anxiety attacks. Following his decision to withdraw UFC President Dana White said he would never let Parisyan back into the company. However White tends to give second, third, and fourth chances to those who either correct their behaviour or show genuine remorse for their actions. So, Parisyan is back in. He'll (hopefully) be fighting at UFC 123 against Dennis "Superman" Hallman in Auburn Hills, MI. The bout is currently unsigned but Helwani is reporting that the two have a verbal agreement in place. Parisyan is 19-5-0-1 in MMA with 8 UFC wins. He last competed at Impact FC 1 in Brisbane, Australia, defeating Ben Mortimer by submission (rear naked choke) in the second round. Hallman (42-13-2-1) defeated Ben Saunders at UFC 117. http://www.mmafighting.com/2010/09/...med-back-to-ufc-offered-dennis-hallman-at-uf/
"I thank God that I'm getting another opportunity. I talked to Dana a couple times and we went back and forth on a couple things. Basically he said they'd give me another shot. He texted me and said, 'I'll give you another shot. Just don't screw me,' and I said, 'No problem."
