<u><span style="color:red">HOW TO MAKE A VIDEO WITH WINDOWS MOVIE MAKERTutorial by Ming637/Celery. </u></span>NOTE: Make sure you have 'Windows Movie Maker' on your computer, if not, you can download it here. http://www.download.com/Windows-Movie-Make...tml?tag=lst-0-11. Once you open the Windows Movie Maker, the first thing you need to do is to import media (video clips/song). Do so by going to 'File', then clicking 'import to collections', then select the file you want to bring into the movie.2. Keep doing it, until you get all the clips you want to use.3. Drag all the clips you want to use in the timeline/storyboard, which should look like this...4. To cut parts of a clip you don't want or need, then on the top click 'clip' then 'split' at the start of the unwanted clip.5. Then go to the end of the unwanted clip you don't need and go up to 'clip' and press 'split' again, then right click at the clip and press 'cut' and you won't have that part.6. Keep doing it until you are satisfied with all of your clips.7. To add music, repeat direction number 1, except bring in a song this time, then drag it into the 'audio/music' timeline.8. Go to Tools --> Audio Levels and move it all the way to audio/music (completely away from audio from video).9. To add effects, just right click on the video frame and go to Video Effects. Highlight and effect you would like to add and click on add to move it over to the right. You can use multiple effects on 1 clip. Then click OK. (Note: I strongly recommend that you do not use too many effects. Too many effects are bad and hurt people?s eyes.10. When you have finished your video, it is now time to export and share it online! Go to File-->Save Movie File. It will ask you where you want to save your movie to. Click my computer and then next. Select a filename and destination for your video. Select the quality that you would like to save. It will tell you an estimated file size of the file. Click OK.^Image provided by Mixmakers.net11. Upload and share.------------------Any questions? Lolz, you guys didn't know this? It's okay, though... The best clip splitter is definitely Movie Maker.Use a better effects program after that.I'm making a Dirk mix right now.

It's the best mixmaking program out there, with all the effects it contains. I'm still trying to get it not to freeze up on me all the time. :bat: :brucelee:
When I downloaded a clip off of MixMakers.net, it came out as a .RAR file. Then I tried opening it up in WMM, but it said it could not support that type of file. What's wrong?
RAR is a compressed archive, meaning you gotta download WinRAR from www.downloads.com then you open it and extract or open the clip inside the file.

It's always best to download .wmv files. Check out my upload/request video clip thread over at mixmakers. http://64.72.127.170/forums/showthread.php?t=77617
