What do you guy's think the cavs will do?We have Gooden and Flip that are Free I think we should re-sign drew and work on his D-# and Flip I am kinda mad at him from the last game at the Q had a few wide open 3's but missed. But anyway I think we will re-sign both and we MUST MUST MUST Sign a PG I want Jason Terry i don't think that will happen so we could get Mike James...

if they really want a PG then they will not sign jason terry, i like him a lot, but hes not a true PG, hes more of a SG/PG mix. I think the cavs want a true PG that distributes the ball and can help LeBron find better shots.

you need a true PG that can make the shots, somebody like a Earl Boykins maybe, or Derek Fisher type of player.

I'm not sure the Cavs should make any drastic changes, they should just grab the best draft pick they can get and re-sign Gooden.

Fisher is a good choice. Had his best year in GS, a good veteran with a nice 3-point shot. He's a big upgrade over Snow and D. Jones. Maybe a trade will go down like this: Fisher for Varejeo, Snow, and Cleveland's 1st round pick. The bad thing is that Fisher may be a bit overpaid for his age. He might decline the second he goes to Cleveland.

Guys you dont want Mike James on a Lebron James team. He is way too selfish and with him on the team Lebron James wouldnt get as many touches. I think Eric Snow is good for another year. They dont really need a great pg because Lebron handles the ball a lot. They could use some more shooters though. They looked horrible shooting the ball against the Pistons. Also, get rid of DJ if possible.

I agree with CB4. LeBron is the only player that can be selfish on this team, and hes not even going to play that way. I think we need to look for a 2 or a 3 really. LeBron and Larry can handle the ball and run the offense just fine. I dont know who is on the market that we could possibly get, but that would be what i would look for. Dont get me wrong, E. Snow can run the offense and is a decent defender, but he is no threat offensively. Going forward, Cleveland is going to need 4 "threats" around LeBron, or he will just get doubled at half court and Cleveland will struggle.I would also get rid of DJ. This may be the last year to possibly move him because of his age and declining value. Drew is a must resign.

This year, there are a few things i think they could pull off, and i would not mind to see. They do not beed to re-sign Gooden i don't believe, they can look at how expensive Reggie Evans or someone like that will be and forget about Gooden. They tried to bring in Marshall who turned out to do alot of nothing for them this season. Maybe they can do a sign and trade package with the Clippers for Vlad Radmanovich. It may be unlikely, but it could work, having Marshall and another part traded for Vlad. Vlad would be that shooter that they was hoping they would get out of Marshall, and provide matchup problems in the East with his height and shooting. Another place to look, is the Suns, as Tim Thomas hits the free agent market, and Eddie House has a player option which i believe he will and should use. Both are good shooters that will help compliment Lebron James and his driving ability nicely. Eddie House if they could get him would help out that point guard situation very nicely. The big thing the Cavaliers will have to do is try to not over spend, which i believe they won't. They know that the next offseason Lebron James hits the open books, and he is the biggets person the team needs.

I like all of those names that came up, however VR and Thomas are going to get some big money this summer because of their play in the playoffs this year. Eddie House is basically a younger, quicker Damon Jones. He wont break down anyone off the dribble or go to the basket. He is a shooter. The Cavs need 1 more slasher that goes to the hoop well. Other than Z, the cavs are a team that could be really explosive in the open court. Not to the level of the Suns, but at a high level.

I disagree, i think they have two players in Larry Hughes and Lebron James that can break down the defense off the dribble. I believe they need consistent shooters around these two, because in the playoffs teams, mainly the pistons, figured out that Marshall, Murray, and anyone else in the game could not hit three pointers with any type of consistency. So they packed in the defense making it hard for Lebron James to drive in as well as he would like, and dared the Cavaliers to hit some open three pointers which they did not. If there were better three point shooters on the wings for the Cavs, there would not have been a game seven, the Cavaliers would have finished out the series in game six. That's why i think consistent three point shooters is a must for the Cavaliers, as Marshall, Murray, Jones, and whoever else proved not to be those guys. I will say, the Cavaliers had the right idea in bringing in these guys. Marshall, Murray, Jones, and others showed good outside shooting in other places but for some reason could not hit in Cleveland. I don't know why, because they got all the open outside looks they could want because of Lebron James, Larry Hughes and Z, unfortunately they just did not make the baskets.

I agree with that. However, has Larry Hughes ever played a full season? And with the mention of more shooters, I didnt like the Hughes deal in the first place. I was pulling for Ray Allen (a very longshot though).
