Out of :Amare StoudamireEmeka OkaforTracy McGradyYao MingLarry HughesWhich one do you expect to have the most affect on there team when they return next season from there injuries?
Tmac.If the rockets had made the playoffs he was my pick for the mvp. The team was ridiculous without him, it was beyond belief.
Either TMac or Yao. Houston was down in the dumps all year. A return by both would put them into the playoffs definately.Larry Hughes wouldn't make that much of an impact. The Cavs still did roll into the playoffs with the four seed, and they almost beat the Pistons, winning three straight without him.The Bobcats would still be pretty bad, with or with out Okafor. Wait for about 2 more years.Suns did fine without Amare. He will help though as he returns with number 1 on his jersey.
TMac and Yao. They are the offense of the Rockets. If they are healthy next year, the Rockets will be back in business no matter what the rest of the team looks like. TMac + Yao = wins.
What mroe can I say? I see TMac and Yao leading the Rockets to 42+ wins next year, and a lw playoff berthExpect 23, 5, and 5 from TMac - 23, 9, and 2 BPG from Yao
I agree with T-Mac and Yao because once they get back to form I think the Rockets have the potential to be one of the best teams in the Western Conference.
The Bobcats are a pretty bad team but he does make a difference. It's not who will have the better team it's who will make the biggest impact.I can agree with Tracy and Yao but Amare is also a key role in the Suns no matter how many games they win.

They are still playing at an elite level without him. He doesnt make a huge impact because they can still be one of the top teams without him. As long as Steve Nash is "running" that offense, then there gonna be at the top of the league in ppg.
I know how many games they won and what not, the point is he is a huge part of the team because of his post presence, rebounds, points, blocks and defense that he brings along with everything else. They still have all-stars on that team which is why they made it that far along with some key players but if not for them they would be pretty bad now.Tracy and Yao are both pretty much 2 man teams over at Houston so their bound to have the biggest impact.
The topic explanation reads "Who do you expect to have the most effect on their team". Well that can be Amare can it? Because they were in the same spot as they are now as they were last year with a healthy Amare. And they even have series leverage on that Mavs team.
Again, having the most effect does not mean having the most wins.He will have a big effect on there post play, defense, rebounds and everything else. Not as much as Tracy or Yao but he will. The topic is not "who will comeback and have the most wins."
I assume effecting the team means making tem a better team which means more wins. Amare does help them oput and he gets them alot of easy points, bu the Suns are fine without him so he does not have a huge effect for them.
TMac and Yao are definitely going to come back strong. Its not like injuries are going to slow down their careers, both are still very young. Amare wont be in his 2004-2005 form, but he'll put up pretty good numbers still. Expect 20 and 8 from Amare. Hughes will never be the same, Okafor will be okay, Felton and Wallace will take over the team next year.
When you have an already good team it does not mean more wins, they will have more wins then this season and I guarantee that. They will be a better team but that does not mean they will turn from 50 wins to 70.
The point im trying to make is that they are already a top 5 team without Amare, so there is no real effect even when he is injured the whole year. Last year they did better with him, but they also had JJ who is a 20 point threat and also Q Rich who will hit a ton of 3 pointers.Having a huge effect I think is when you are injured, your team is not very good, and when you are back, your team is back up into playoff status. TMac and Yao have that effect. With Amare, the team isnt THAT MUCH better because the offense is almost as good with other guys.
Just Amare's presence on the floor makes them a better team, like Shaq.Yes they are a good team now but they wil be better with him and even if that means by 1 win they will be better. When he was on the team they won 60 games without him they won 50.They had Nash, Marion and Diaw so they were still going to be a good team. The fact is Suns with Amare>Suns without Amare.
Yeah, that's all fine and good, but the fact is, that the Suns still had the 3rd best record in the West, and almost 55 wins without him...yes he's a great player, and they will be a better team with him, but the question was "Who will have the MOST impact next year".And that's obviously Tmac.Look 2 years ago they were a 40+ win team, and the 5th seed...this past year with the Tmac injury, mainly, they failed to make the playoffs all together, and didn't get close to 40 wins. When he comes back, I fully expect them to get the 5 seed again, with 45, or more, wins. That's impact...What, are the suns going to jump from 55 wins to 58? That's alot of impact....lol.
I know that both Tracy and Yao will mean more to there team but Amare is also a key part in the Suns team and they can probably make it to the finals with a healthy Amare.I was just trying to name some one else from the list rather then having the same person repeated 20 times.

When Amare is out they are still a great team. Look at the other guys on that list. When they are out their team fails. When Amare is back, sure, they will be better, but not that much better to be honest, because they are still really good when he is not there. Thats why he doesnt put a huge effect on their team. They are doing just as good as they were last year in the playoffs, except this time, without Amare, and without any Center at all basically.Hope youf inally get my point there, because Im getting tired of trying to show it to you.
