I can make some comments about this one from a comment write. Even with the 376,000 fans the previous year I remember working Wednesday Friday, Saturday nights when the attendance wouldn't even break 3500 people. How is that cost effective to run the stadium with all the lights, electricity, paying employees', etc. Lets see how much it took to run PGE park per event with a graph? I'm getting tired of all the baseball fans bitching like this, "Why couldn't they keep the beavers where they are, and build a soccer stadium?" Its obvious that the city consul, and the fans failed. You can't blame Merrit directly because he even offered chipping in $25 million for baseball stadium funding. There was no "save our beavers" group, like what the impact that the Timber Army has done. I'm sorry to see the beavers go, but I'm getting tired of the baseball fans bitching on the last few days that i worked at PGE park.
