How high is the interest of basketball where you live? How high is the level of basketball?Myself, I live in North Carolina, so you can imagine the talent is high. I had more competition in a 1 - A school this year, within a county of about 100,000 people, whan I did within a city of about 120,000 people last year in Canada. People take it seriously here, are great overall athletes, and really know how to play the game. There are also tons and tons of great coaches.

Its pretty competetive in Atlanta. At the YMCA, it can get competetive, and theres some good ass players there to..I got dunked on by a huge white kid..Theres alot of tournaments and stuff to, so thats pretty cool. We got the Atlanta Celtics, and Georgia Stars; two of the biggest AAU teams in the US. They've produced many stars

I live in DC like Zards. In Zards part (Virginia) there isn't a huge amount of great players. Around my school/area there is a lot of high school talent and interest in teams. Although it mostly heads towards the NCAA when March Madness time comes alot of it goes towards the Wizards.

It's very competetive in Miami. Simply because it's an extremely populated city and of course there's bound to be great players. For isntance I'm a pretty good player, but there is no way in hell I'm making my highschool's basketball team in a school with almost 4,000 kids, let alone a white kid. [IMG]

Well the reason we dont have alot of ballers out here at my school is because I go to a very small school.

I live in College Station, Texas. For those that don't know, it is the home of Texas A&M. Basically, imagine 46,000 people, mostly from Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas, all packed into a 2 mile by .75 mile rectangle. So yeah, the interest level is high. Since it's all college students I play with, the talent level is pretty high as well. Sometimes the level is low... many times there are foreign students that play at the rec. It's not to say that they can't be good at basketball, but in general, they tend to not have as much experience.
