In-n-Out is owned by religious wack-o's.

    Just an FYI.

If religious wack-o's can own Tom Cruise, why can't they own a burger joint?

Yeah, but you guys have Dunkin Donuts on every street corner, so it makes up for it.

There should be a law prohibiting the mis-use of the word "burger".

What this survey is about is rating meatpucks, not burgers.

You guys seriously consume that crap?

How is Ruddfuckers on this list?

For me, Burgerville #1, In'n'Out #2. But cause there is no Burgerville in AZ I eat mainly In'n'Out. But for fast food, I would much prefer Chik-fil-a over any fast food hamburger.

Five guys blows everything on that list out of the water. In n out is good...........for fast food. It's also apparently extremely overrated.

Ahh, yes, the obligatory holier-than-thou, insufferably smug and elitist "I never eat fast food!" post. I wondered what took so long

I eat fast food maybe once a year if that. I've had In & Out when going to see the Blazers in Sacramento since it's near Arco. I have not been impressed. Saying it's better than McDonalds is like saying intestinal flu is better than ovarian cancer. True, but still sucks.

There's a GREAT burger place in Berkeley. I don't go often since it's horrendously calorific but they use real ingredients, make each one individually, they're huge, bake the rolls, make the fries from real potatoes. I usually get California Burger, with jack cheese (G-d will forgive this unkosher indulgence) and avocado. Not a slice, a whole avocado, organic sprouts, other stuff. Usually a friend and I split a half order of fries and half salad. And are too stuffed for dessert.

Good to see Burgerville represented. They've got quality burgers for a fast food joint.

    And Five Guys is great.

In-N-Out. Haven't had it but no surprise there.

I used to live down the street from the first five guys, before it was a chain. Good times. They certainly deserve to be near the top.

Fuddruckers does not, in any shape or form, deserve to. Yuck. Way overpriced and somehow very nasty

Aren't Carls Jr and Hardees the same, just branded different in different locations? So does the different rating reflect some sort of sampling issue or is it regional variation in what makes a burger good.

Are Rally's and Checkers the same? Think so.

BKs quality has really seemed to fall off in recent years. Used to get it a lot, but it seems like they don't have the same build quality they used to.

Please read the title of the report, and get back to us.

Hint: You will never find something in the title at an Arby's....or Chick-fil-A

In England, a burger is a burger. A chicken burger, roast beef burger...

Ah. Generally, here, burgers are beef (though sometimes, very infrequently, turkey or lamb). Then you have chicken and roast beef sandwiches.
