Los Angeles Lakers forward Matt Barnes, who formerly played for the Sacramento Kings, has been arrested on domestic violence charges, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department said. Officials said deputies responded to an incomplete 911 call from a residence in the 8100 block of Sunset Avenue at 4:16 p.m. Wednesday, where they met with 30-year-old Barnes and a woman who he lived with and had a dating relationship. Deputies said they determined the two were involved in a physical confrontation during which Barnes prevented the woman from talking to 911 operators. This is the second incident with Barnes getting bad press this summer. He needs to get his shit together before the season starts the Lakers don't need these off court distractions.
